About Us

My name is Jennifer.  I started Periwinkle Rose in 2004, because I wanted to share the enjoyment of high-quality, hand-made garments with other women, especially those without the time or skills to make their own clothes. My mother taught me to sew, and I fell in love with making clothes working in the costume department at Western Washington University where I graduated with a degree in theater. I then went on to study Apparel Design at Seattle Central Community College.  My favorite part of my business is finding new, interesting patterns that you can’t find on the rack and updating the pajama designs to reflect the changing needs of our customers. I make sure that every pair of pajama pants that bears our label is of the highest standard. I should know. I make every pair.

At Periwinkle Rose, our customers are our friends, co-workers, sisters and mothers. We want to give you the same comfort and style that we crave for ourselves. We think our customers deserve only the best and vow to treat them as we want to be treated; with courtesy and excellent customer service. We also believe in supporting other small businesses.
